1. Creation
- The heavens and the earth were created a few thousand years before Christ by God in six (6) consecutive twenty four (24) hour days. "For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is" Exodus 20:11a
- The great Flood in the days of Noah was a literal worldwide flood flood and most of the fossiliferous sediment originated at that time.
- Creation Compromises (such as gap theory, day-age theory, theistic evolution, and so on) have no basis in Scripture.
- Biological life was not created by natural processes, but supernaturally created by God.
- Humans did not evolve from common ancestry, but specially designed and created by God in full human form from start.
2. Theology
- The Creator of the universe is a triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. There is only one eternal and transcendent God, the source of all being and meaning, and He exists in three Persons, each of whom participated in the work of creation.
- Death and suffering entered into this world through man's sin.
- Adam's fall into sin is the basis for the necessity of salvation for mankind.
- All things necessary for our salvation are set down in Scripture.
- Jesus Christ became man without ceasing to be God, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man. He accomplished this redemption by voluntarily giving Himself as a sinless, substitutionary sacrifice on the cross, thereby satisfying God’s righteous judgment against sin. Then Jesus rose bodily and ascended into heaven.
